Several Palestinians were hospitalized in Nablus in the northern West Bank after they inhaled large amounts of tear gas during clashes with Israeli troops who raided the city overnight. Israeli forces also bombed the house of a 24-year old man in the city.Israeli forces raided the city of Nablus in the West Bank using tear gas and sound grenades alongside bombing the house of Abdulla al Kharuf, totally destroying the house. This bombing followed clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces, which hospitalized 19 Palestinians, two of which were hit with stun grenades. The military alongside Special Forces then raided the towns of Ras al-Ayn, Khallat al-Eiman and Khallat al-Amoud at 2 am, arresting 5, including 24 year old Abdulla al Kharuf. Israeli forces evacuated the house of Ahmad al Kharouf before thowing in a bomb, which resulted in a large hole in the roof and structurally damaging the entire house. The family are now piecing their lives back together and informed Press TV that the entire house will now have to be demolished. This is the third time that Abdulla al Kharuf has been placed into administrative detention for resisting the Israeli forces at demonstrations and the family have still not been informed of the location in which he is being detained. The punitive measures taken by the Israeli forces seem brutal and unnecessary considering that Abdulla al Kharuf was arrested before his house was destroyed. It seems that Israel will not be held accountable.
