At least 14 people have lost their lives and several others suffered injuries after a farming vehicle crashed into a bridge near China's Fujian Province. The incident occurred when a diesel tricycle illegally taking 22 passengers on board veered out of control and struck a stone bridge near Shankeng village in Ningde city, a city government official said on Tuesday. The wounded, including two in bad condition have been sent to local hospital, an official said. Carrying passengers with farming vehicles is against the law in China. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. MAM/SZH/JR/IS
