Iranian actor Bahram Radan has been named as the winner at the Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF) in India for staring in Reza Karimi’s movie.
Radan beat other competitors and swept the Best Actor Award of the festival for his role in Karimi’s The Killer

was screened in the World Cinema Section.
features the life of a young forensic psychiatrist who visits an old friend whose fiancée, Roya, has been accused of murder.
About 60 films on various subjects were presented during the three-day festival chaired by prolific Indian director and screenwriter Shyam Benegal.
Movies from different countries such as France, Canada, Belgium, Lebanon, Cuba, India, Italy and Iran competed in four programmed sections of ‘World Cinema’, ‘Competition’, ‘Indian Cinema’ and ‘Ladakh cinema.’
The 1st Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF) was held from June 15 to 17, 2012.
