The wife of a senior Saudi prince has been sending money to one of the 9/11 hijackers, a former CIA officer has told Press TV's US Desk.
Robert Baer noted stated that with the tenth anniversary of 9/11 attacks approaching, there are still unanswered questions serving to highlight the practicalities of the who, how and why of the attacks.
Baer referred to some crucial unanswered questions that keep insulting the intelligence of 'intellectuals.'
“Why was Prince Bandar's wife (wife of former Saudi Ambassador to the US, Prince Bandar bin Sultan) sending money to one of the hijackers? There is also all sorts of funding issues about 9/11 which have never been answered,” Baer said.
“Nobody at the CIA was ever punished for not reporting about the two hijackers ... There is just so many questions about 9/11 that I haven't seen answered yet and it seems that the United States has just moved on,” he continued.
He also strongly criticized the policy to try to extract answers through torture. “I've always been against this. It's a bad way to collect intelligence. It's not a professional way to do it. It's just unfortunate that they went down this road of using renditions and torture as a means of extracting intelligence from suspects.”
