The Libyan National Council has welcomed the Arab League's decision to unanimously back the idea of a no-fly-zone over Libya. At a press conference on Saturday evening, the Council was adamant that they had the upper hand against Gaddafi's forces and were hoping the UN Security Council would issue a no-fly-zone. But the Libyans are still wary of what Gaddafi could do.

Fighting in many cities is intensifying, where defenseless civilians are being killed at the hands of pro-regime supporters and mercenaries.

This hospital in Benghazi has been housing many injured from the cities of Ras Lanuf and Brega. The overflowing number of wounded has overwhelmed the hospital.

This man says he was shot in the back by mercenaries in Ras Lanuf and had to be carted hundreds of kilometers to reach Benghazi. This peaceful protester had to come all the way from Al-Baidha because the only hospital there did not have enough resources.

Gaddafi's son has warned of an all-out war against the revolutionaries. In response, hundreds of young men have grabbed guns and made for the frontline. Many are ill-trained and poorly disciplined, shooting randomly into the sky in frustration at bombing raids. But their courage and dedication is not in doubt.
