Pars oil, gas deals exceed $37b

The Pars Oil and Gas Company signed contracts worth over $6 billion between August 2005 and February 2007 for the development of South Pars oil and gas field.


The deals were clinched for the development of phases 15, 16, 17 and 18 of the field, and also construction of a centralized South Pars power plant, Mehr news agency reports.

The total value of contracts of Pars oil and gas company signed so far exceeds $37 billion.

Pars oil and gas company aims to support domestic industries, make use of expertise of young and talented engineers, pay attention to employment and make optimum use of people employed in domestic industries.
