Award-winning Iranian director Behrouz Afkhami is preparing to shoot his latest film This is not My House with an Iranian and Canadian crew in Ontario.
The film is produced by Johnny Smoke and is based on a short story written by Jeremy Kane, ISNA reported.
This is not My House is Afkhami's second production outside Iran.
Born in 1956, Behrouz Afkhami graduated from the School of Cinema and Television of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
The 54-year-old filmmaker and screen writer has made many successful films and taught at a number of universities in Tehran.
Afkhami has received the South Korean Movie Award for Best Direction and Brisbane's Catholic Church Award for Best Motion Picture.
Kouchake Jangali TV series, The Bride and The River's End are among his better known works.
