Israel's Air Force will reportedly take part in aerial military exercises with a NATO-member state to train its pilots for long-range flights.

The Israeli daily Jerusalem Post reported on Monday that Israeli warplanes will participate this year "in a joint aerial exercise with a NATO-member state that cannot be identified.”

According to the report, the drill will take place in the US and Europe.

The report added that Israel would send F-16C fighter jets to the US to attend in a military exercise in the Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

At the same time, several of Israeli C-130 Hercules planes would take part in a competition at Washington's McChord Air Force Base.

Citing military officials, the report said that the exercises would be aimed at training Israeli pilots for long-range flights.

The report came after US Vice President Joe Biden said that Washington would not stop Israel if it intended to launch an attack against Iran.

Israel accuses Iran of developing nuclear arms. Tehran, however, says its nuclear program is aimed at developing the nuclear technology for civilian applications.
