Iran's Latifi to make film about Ronaldo

During the 2006 World Cup, Ronaldo became the highest scorer in World Cup history with his fifteenth goal.
Iranian filmmaker Mohammad-Hossein Latifi has announced plans to make a film about Brazilian soccer player sensation Ronaldo.

According to Fars News Agency, Latifi and producer Mansour Sohrabpour have traveled to Sao Paolo upon Ronaldo's invitation to negotiate the project.

The film will be made outside Iran with a non-Iranian cast and the title agreed upon is Ronaldo, Number 9 but it is open to change.

This is while the project is not definite yet and the making of the film entirely depends on Ronaldo's decision.

Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima is a professional soccer player currently playing for Campeonato Brasileiro club Corinthians.

Ronaldo has played for Barcelona, Internazionale, Real Madrid and Milan. He has appeared in 97 international matches, amassing 62 goals and standing 15 goals away from the Brazilian national scoring record.

During the 2006 World Cup, Ronaldo became the highest scorer in World Cup history with his fifteenth goal, surpassing Gerd Muller's previous record of 14.
