Sepahan beats Al Shabab in AFC-CL

An early and an injury-time goal lead to Sepahan's 2-0 victory in its first AFC Champions League match against the UAE's Al Shabab.
Mehdi Jafarpour scored the opener for Sepahan only two minutes into the game, which was held in Isfahan's Naqsh-e-Jahan Stadium.
Sepahan was the dominant side throughout the game, but missed several scoring opportunities.
It was only in the injury time when Armando Sa made a secure 2-0 win for the home side, sending Sepahan to the top of Group D of AFC Champions League.
In another Group D match, Uzbekistan's Bunyodkor beat Saudi Arabia's Ettifaq 2-1 to stand in the second place.
