Cuban May Day Celebration will host 900 union leaders from 52 countries as confirmed by the local press on Friday.

The list is narrowed down so far to 26 Latin American and Caribbean nations, 16 European countries, four Asian states and six African nations each sending 483, 394, 16, 16 and 11 unionists respectively and the total of 247 reporters Worldwide.

World Federation of Trade Union president George Mavrikos is reported to be among the visiting company according to "Granma" newspaper.

An important group of leaders will also attend the International Meeting of Solidarity, scheduled to be held at Havana's Conference Center the following day and the 6th Hemispheric Meeting of Struggle against Free Trade Agreements and for the Peoples' Integration on May 3-5.
