Iran holds int'l flower exhibition

The Iranian capital has mounted an International Exhibition of Flowers and Plants, the largest event of its kind in the Middle East.
The event displays floral productions of 30 companies from 15 countries and Iran, which ranks 17 in the world in flower production.
“The exhibition aims to promote Iran's flower and plant sector and demonstrate the country's potential to actively participate in international markets,” said mayor of Tehran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf.
Specialized flower and plants exhibitions are slated to be held every two weeks at the venue, which covers an area of 17000 square meters.
