Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) strongly warns against any sort of military attack against Iran.
In an interview with the Saudi Arabian newspaper Okaz, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu stressed the right of every Islamic country to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes and said the OIC's stance toward Iran's nuclear program is clear.
He also criticized the double standards employed by the world's super powers against the nuclear activities of Islamic and Arab countries whilst ignoring the nuclear arsenals of the Zionist regime.
Iran says it is entitled to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes as it has signed the Non-Proliferation treaty but the West continues to accuse the country of developing nuclear weapons.
Referring to the appointment of a new ambassador of the OIC in Iraq, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said that it is Iran as well as other Islamic country's duty to help this neighboring country.
