Professor Burton Richter, the 1976 physics Nobel Prize laureate and a senior fellow at Freeman Spogli, is scheduled to pay a visit to Iran.

Tehran's Sharif University of Technology will serve as the venue for the Nobel Prize winner to deliver a speech on particle physics on Monday.

Richter will lecture on particle physics, focusing on the elementary constituents of matter and radiation and the interactions between them.

Sharif University of Technology is scheduled to play host to a conference titled “Elementary Particle Physics: A Personal Look Ahead” on May 26.
