Argentine soccer violence leaves six injured.
At least six have been injured as Argentinean soccer fans lost control at the Velez Sarsfield stadium after River Plate beat Arsenal.

Just before kick-off in the match between Arsenal de Sarandi and River Plate, film footage shows dozens of supporters fighting, some using ripped out plastic seats and sticks as weapons.

Alberto Crescenti, a city paramedics' director reported three men hospitalized; one with a severe head injury and two others with less extreme injuries.

River Plate, coached by former Argentina captain Diego Simeone, beat Arsenal 1-0 to lead the table with 18 points from eight games. They remain unbeaten.

Since November 2007, three fans have died in football-related violence in Argentina.
