Iron Age site found in northern Iran

A group of Korean archeologists has discovered an Iron Age site during an excavation project in the northern Iranian province of Gilan.
The site, found in the Yarshaldeman cave in Samdor Valley yielded several animal remains and a sharp tool-like object.
The team Led by the prominent Korean archeologist Ki Dong Bai, studied the migration process from Africa to Central Asia through the routes along the Caspian Sea.
The discovery is considered a stepping-stone toward reaching a better understanding of the Paleolithic Era and human settlements in Central and North Asia.
