Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama
US presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton speak to the Democratic voters in Wisconsin just days ahead of Tuesday's primary.

Both Obama and Clinton took turns to speak at the Founders Day gala dinner in Wisconsin with Hillary admitting that the choice to choose between her and her rival is not easy.

Although Clinton acknowledged that they both could make great achievements, she argued that she could be the leader who could offer real solutions to the country's problems and said that, “I think that the choice is really whether we're going to have a fighter, a doer, and a champion again in the White House. Somebody who gets up every single day with determination, backbone, and yes, toughness. I know some people have said that I am tough. You know what? We need a tough president because we have tough problems waiting for us."

However, when the issue of solving problems came up, Obama said that he was the one to do it and stated that, "What we need is a president who's in the business of solving problems, and we will solve those problems by bringing the country together, and rallying the United States of America around a common purpose."

In a poll conducted by Research 2000 for WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, where pollsters interviewed 400 likely Democratic voters by phone, Obama got a slight lead over Clinton with 47 to 42 with a margin of error of 5 percentage points.

However, 11 percent of the respondents were undecided which could shift the victory to either candidate on Tuesday's primary in Wisconsin.

Meanwhile Obama leads the chase for nomination delegates 1,280-1,218; Hillary is looking forward to a big win on Tuesday's primary in Wisconsin where there are 92 Democratic delegates at stake.

Both candidates need 2,025 delegates to secure the presidential nomination at the party's convention in Denver this summer.
