New reports suggest the Ivorian striker Didier Drogba will leave the Chelsea club after this season to join Jose Mourinho at AC Milan.
Drogba explained that he intended to leave the West London club for two or three years and that the ex-Chelsea manager's departure had encouraged him to pursue the decision.
The French newspaper L'Equipe reported in late December that Mourinho had signed a pre-contract with Milan to take over from Carlo Ancelotti.
It is said that Milan may spend 54 million euros to encourage the Ivorian playmaker to wear the black and red jersey.
“I'm not going to speak about this, however we will soon. My major objective is the African Cup of Nations and to win more things with Chelsea when I return,” the Ivorian said.
