Aidin Nikkhah Bahrami, a member of the Iranian national basketball team and Saba Batri club dies in a car accident in northern Iran.

The 25-year-old forward along with his brother Samad Nikkhah Bahrami, Hamed Haddadi, Mehdi Kamrani, Oshin Sahakian and Hamed Eslamieh played an important role in winning the gold medal of the 2007 Asian Championship in Japan.

He played his last match against Qazvin's Pardis club hours before his demise.

Nikkhah will be laid to rest in Tehran on Dec. 29th 2007.
