Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit has said that Tehran and Cairo are holding negotiations to completely normalize relations.

Speaking to the satellite television channel al-Arabiya, the minister added that talks between Iran and Egypt have been resumed but are not completed yet.

He cautioned against consequences of any military adventurism concerning Iran by the US and the Zionist regime, expressing Egypt's opposition.

Aboul Gheit said that any military attack on Iran would have serious impact on stability and security in the region.

An Egyptian delegation headed by Assistant Foreign Minister Hussein Drar recently visited Tehran and held talks with Iranian officials on bilateral relations.
