US Presidential hopeful Ron Paul says the recent increase in the number of his supporters proves that Americans are ready for reform.

Congressman Ron Paul said Sunday his presidential campaign will easily reach its objective of raising $12 million in the fourth quarter of 2007 as his donors increase.

The 72-year-old Republican candidate disclosed the figure on CNN's Late Edition, adding that at this rate the amount of money raised could be over $14 million or $15 million.

The American people are willing to put their money with a candidate who is willing to defend their interests, said the 10-term Texas congressman.

Political pundits consider Ron Paul to be an anomaly in America's political arena. Paul is a sharp critic of the US President and seeks to end the occupation of Iraq and to eliminate the influence of the Central Intelligence Agency.
