IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei warns the US that any military strike against Iran would guarantee that it 'develops a nuclear bomb'.

In an interview with the Argentine newspaper Clarin, ElBaradei urged Washington to learn from its mistake of invading Iraq.

The head of the UN nuclear watchdog said while attacking Iran's nuclear sites might delay the program, it would also 'guarantee that Tehran will go after nuclear weapons'.

"It would also provoke further problems in a region that is already a huge mess," he said, referring to the Middle East.

ElBaradei, who has been supervising Iran's nuclear case, once again pointed out that the International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors have not found any evidence suggesting Tehran is developing nuclear weapons.

This is while the IAEA boss has been under pressure from the White House and its allies to adopt a tougher stance on Tehran. Both the United States and the Zionist regime have strongly criticized the IAEA report on Iran.

In the IAEA's latest report on Iran, ElBaradei stated that the country has been 'truthful' about its past activities.
