Executive Deputy Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah has warned any military attack against Iran would trigger devastating regional conflicts.
Hossein Mousavi told IRNA in Beirut on Wednesday that launching military attack on Iran or another war against Lebanon is unlikely.
"However the recent allegations by the US and Zionist officials who claim there is no military option on the table should not be taken seriously," he noted, arguing the US and Zionists would seize any opportunity to target Lebanon, Syria and Iran.
"Any military attack on Iran would be a grave mistake. Targeting the country could result in a devastating war that would engulf the whole Middle East, making the region unsafe for US troops," he cautioned.
