An AFP photographer is shot and wounded by a rubber bullet fired by the Zionist Regime's troops in the West Bank, medics and witnesses said.
The Palestinian Abbas Momani who was covering a protest in the occupied West Bank was shot in the head when the Zionist soldiers fired rubber bullets towards a group of journalists covering the rally against Israel's controversial separation barrier in the village of Bilin.
The 33-year-old Momani was rushed to hospital in the nearby West Bank town of Ramallah.
Hundreds of foreign peace activists together with Israelis and Palestinians demonstrate against the barrier being built in the West Bank at least once a week. Palestinians believe the barrier, made of electric fencing, barbed wire and concrete walls is aimed at grabbing their land.
The International Court of Justice issued a non-binding ruling in 2004 that some parts of the 650-kilometre barrier crisscrossing the West Bank is built illegally and should be dismantled.
