The Iranian vocalist Abdol-Hossein Mokhtabad accompanied by the Roudaki Music Ensemble is to perform a concert in Tehran this summer.

According to Mokhtabad, the group with its new cast of members will perform several pieces by Iranian composers at Vahdat Hall.

The ensemble also plans to go on a tour of Europe this fall to perform traditional Iranian songs.

The group performed a concert in Russia on the occasion of the Iranian New Year in March.

Abdol-hossein Mokhtabad became a public figure several years ago with the recording of number of touching songs. In a very short time he has become widely known to Iranians as a performing artist.
