Recycling posters featuring the picture of US President Barack Obama have reportedly been spotted on garbage cans at the Estonian capital's airport.

Obama's photograph is encircled with the three arrows that symbolize recycling and encourages consumers with his campaign slogan "Yes, We Can," Russia Today (RT) reported citing a report at delfi.ee.

Eesti Pakendiringlus, an Estonian recycled packaging company, is stressing on the “can” with a pun on the word's other meaning tin.

It was not immediately clear whether Obama had agreed to becoming the poster-boy for the company or commercial rights were ignored.

Last month, posters of Obama depicted as the "Joker" character, a villain in Batman comic books, began spreading in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Florida, sparking a media frenzy.

A bored history student made the images using Photoshop software to morph Obama with face of late Hollywood actor Heath Ledger who played the Joker's character in the latest Batman movie, 'The Dark Night,' and posted them on Flickr.

The creator, Firas Alkhateeb, says an Obama critic could have downloaded the image and distributed the posters adding the word "Socialism" to the image. He stressed that he harbored no ill feeling toward the US president and was just practicing.
