SMS disruption unrelated to air pollution: Report

The new disruption in text messaging services in Iran, is unrelated to the dust pollution overwhelming the country, a report says.
After text messaging came to a stop on Monday, an informed source told ILNA that the problem had nothing to do with air Dust pollution is not related to SMS disruptions and no technical problem has been reported by the Telecommunication Company of Iran (TCI) and the Ministry of Information & Communication Technology," the source said.
The suspension of text messaging which began on the eve of Iran's June 12 presidential election lasted for 20 days. While the service was reactivated last weekend, it cost telecom operators nearly $15 million in damages.
