This week, senior diplomat currently in charge of the Iranian embassy in Caracas spoke to Press TV regarding the positive development of the mutual cooperation between Venezuela and Iran and provided details about the recent visit to his country by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. In the scenario of international relations, Venezuelan officials agree with Iran's antimperialist view.

Meanwhile, as far as economy is concerned, the Iranian official pointed out that Iran and Venezuela keep enhancing their treaties in sectors like automobiles, commerce, banking, oil industry among others.

As both countries' economic ties keep growing, their social and cultural integration also seems to do the same.Relations between Iran and Venezuela have transcended to a strategic level ever since Hugo Chavez became the president of the oil-rich Latin American country. Both Iranians and Venezuelans share a common view regarding the principles of sovereignty, independence and economic development without submission to any superpower in the world.
