The people of Iran have different opinions of the effectiveness of Iran Code. Iranians at this point are not aware of Iran Code's full capabilities; they just believe it shows product pricing.
On the other hand some Iranians believe Iran Code is a look at the future which can be patented. Many people also believe Iran Code can show which products have legally entered Iran or even legally produced in Iran and which differentiating from back market goods.
Iran Code is similar to a barcode which is an optical machine-readable representation of data relating to the object to which it is attached that has the widths and spacing of parallel lines.
These numbers and barcodes represent the origins of a product alongside many other specific detailed information.
Iran Code will use a national system code for all produced and imported to Iran. This system will allow manufacturers and businesses to manage, identify and categorize goods.
