Broadcast Date: 11 Jan. 2012 Watch on YouTube
On November 2007, opposition protests at the doors of Georgia's parliament faced a brutal crackdown. Hundreds of protesters were injured and as a result, the reputation of President Saakashvili remains tarnished till today.

In the aftermaths of the violence, it seemed that Georgia's opposition was going to take the leading role.

On October 2011, Bidzina Ivanishvili; Georgia's richest man announced that he has decided to enter the Georgian politics.

The 45 year-old billionaire is said to be the great hope of the Georgian opposition in the next presidential election.

Nonetheless, Ivanishvili, who was a notorious recluse before he entered politics, still doesn't seem entirely comfortable in the public eye.

As Georgia's richest man has vowed to unseat President Saakashvili, this edition of INfocus asks: Can the oligarch take on the president?
