Israel speeded up collapse by killing Hamas’ leaders sons, grandchildren: FM

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian (L) and Ismail Haniyeh, the Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas’ Political Bureau chief

Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian says the Israeli regime’s recent massacre against a Hamas’ leader’s family members only speeds up the regime’s certain collapse.

The top diplomat made the remarks in a message addressed to Ismail Haniyeh, the Palestinian resistance movement’s Political Bureau chief, on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, three sons and three grandchildren of the senior Hamas’ official were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle at the al-Shati refugee camp in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, which is enduring a genocidal Israeli war.

Amir-Abdollahian condemned the atrocity as “a criminal and cowardly attack by the usurping Zionist regime.”

The martyrdom of the Hamas’ leader’s family members “serves as a precursor to divine assistance and victory for the Palestinian nation, and a source of eternal shame, defeat, abasement, and ignominy for the criminal Zionists and their supporters,” he said.

Such instances of sacrifice “will undoubtedly increase the Palestinian nation’s steely faith and resolve to [exercise] steadfastness and resistance towards liberation of the dear Palestine and will speed up the foundationless Zionist regime’s inevitable defeat and collapse,” concluded the message.

Earlier, Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi had addressed a similar message to Haniyeh, calling the Israeli bombardment another sign of Tel Aviv’s savagery.

Various resistance groups have also erupted in a chorus of condemnation and condolence after the Israeli airstrike, pledging allegiance to Hamas and asserting that such atrocities would not dent the Palestinian nation’s resolve to defeat the occupation.
