London Luton airport suspends flights due to fire in car park

Britain's London Luton Airport suspended all flights late on Tuesday as a car fire started in its parking lot.

Video footage showed emergency services at the scene of the blaze, while onlookers walked by with their luggage.

"All flights are currently suspended as emergency services respond to a fire in terminal car park 2," the airport said in a post on messaging platform X.

Flights are set to be suspended until noon (1100GMT) on Wednesday, the airport said.
