The United Nations says 2023 has been the deadliest year for Palestinians in terms of the number of Palestinian people killed by Israeli forces since the world body started keeping records in 2006.

It says violence has been rampant against Palestinian people, as over 200 of them have been killed so far this year.

In parallel, the regime continues to destroy more Palestinian structures and take their lands as it increases the construction of illegal settlements. However, pressure is mounting on the regime from many directions.

This edition of the Spotlight program is about the incessant Israeli attacks on Palestinian lives and lands. Despite the ongoing violations of Palestinian rights, international pressure, not least by the UN, is mounting on Israel to stop its racist policy.
