Survey results by a UK food bank charity show one in seven people in Britain faced hunger last year due to money shortage.

The Trussell Trust said its research equated to an estimated 11.3 million people. It noted the findings are just the tip of the iceberg.

Earlier, another study indicated that hunger has become the new normal for millions of Brits amid an unprecedented rise in food prices.
