Iran's Peykan has reached the Asian Club Volleyball Championship final after beating Taraz VC of Kazakhstan 3-1.
A dramatic first set ended with a shock for the top Iranian professional volleyball team, who went down 36-34. But the team bounced back strongly, winning the second set 5-17.
The third set saw the nail-biting contest between the two sides, but Peykan eventually had the last laugh, before capping off a brilliant performance by clinching the fourth set 25-16.
In the championship match on Friday, Peykan will take on Japan's Suntory Sunbirds for its 7th Asian title.
The Japanese side defeated Iran’s Shah-Daab Yazd in 4 sets in the semifinals.
