Saudi warplanes launch fresh airstrikes on the Yemeni capital Sana’a, leaving several casualties and material damage.

Solomon Island unrest 

Solomon Islands police have found three bodies in a burned-out building following rioting in the capital Honiara in the past several days. Media reports say charred bodies have been discovered in a store in the Chinatown district. The cause of the deaths remains unclear as forensic teams launched an investigation into the incident. Buildings in the Chinatown neighborhood have been looted and burnt during the unrest. More than a hundred people have been arrested for rioting and looting linked to the recent anti-government protests. A host of domestic issues, including failed development promises, are said to have triggered the riot. The demonstrators want Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare to step down.
