Iran marks 1953 coup against PM Mosaddegh 

In August 1953, British and American spy agencies orchestrated a coup against Iran's Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddeq. He nationalized Iran’s oil industry, which had been mainly controlled by the British-owned Anglo-Iranian Oil Company.
