A speech at the Manama security conference by the former Saudi Intelligence Chief, Turki al-Faisal has irked Israel. He used the occasion to publicly make a stand against the Israeli regime, potentially reflecting the thoughts of many other senior Saudi royals in Riyadh.

The former minister went on to state that the Israeli regime treatment of the people of Palestine was unacceptable, compared them to concentration camps, and noting that the Israeli regime did not discriminate when it came to treating men, women and children with totally brutal measures.
