Nine-time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has tested positive for COVID-19, and will miss this weekend's Aragon Grand Prix.

The Yamaha rider, who is 13th in the championship standings, carried out the pre-event standard test on Thursday, which came back positive. Therefore, the 41-year old will not be able to take part in Sunday’s race.
