WRC: Tanak extends Estonia rally

Defending champion Ott Tanak has extended his overall lead at the rally of Estonia after finishing first at the end of stage 11. 

The home favorite finished day two after clocking one hour 15 minutes and 8 seconds, while Irishman Craig Creen finished second, 11 seconds behind his Hyundai teammate, while 6-time world champion Sebastien Ogier crossed the line in third.

Meanwhile, Tierry Neuville of Belgium was forced to retire from the event, after bouncing out of a rut, swiping a bank and smashing the rear right suspension of his car.

The final day of the rally will be held on Sunday. The Event is operating under strict protocols with social distancing, mandatory pre-event testing, and the use of face coverings to limit the spread of COVID-19.
