MotoGP race in Qatar cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak

Next week’s MotoGP season opener in Qatar has also been canceled over travel restrictions on passengers from Italy, due to the coronavirus epidemic.

This means that Italy-based teams, Ducati and Aprilia, and Riders including MotoGP Great Valentino Rossi, Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Dovizioso, who won last year's Qatar Grand Prix for Ducati, will not be allowed to enter Qatar.

So, this decision was made to scrap the Premier Class Contest completely. That’s while, Formula One’s Season Opener in Australia on March the 15th, will be in place, BUT the Chinese Grand Prix which is SET for the 19th of April in Shanghai, has been Cancelled.
