Irans auto industry is expected to register a CAGR of 5.3% through 2025.

With the total sales of 12 billion dollars, it makes up for approximately 19 percent of the total industry. Furthermore, it is responsible for 14 percent added value creation contribution to Irans industry as a whole.

2017 was the golden year for Irans automotive industry in the last decade. During this time, Iran made over 1.5 million vehicles, 14 percent more than in 2016.

Also, Iran was the 12th biggest car market on the planet with its sales in the region. During this period sales represented 18 percent growth which made Iran the fourth fastest growing nation in the market behind Brazil, Portugal, and Russia.
