The defending Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt away from home.
Filip Kostic made it 1-nil in the 25th minute before Djibril Sow volleyed the ball home to double the lead for the hosts.
Robert Lewandowski made it 2-1 for the 10-man Bavarians with a magnificent solo run before the break, but Eintracht continued with the onslaught in the second half and scored three more goals to complete Bayern’s misery on Saturday.
The defeat leaves Bayern Munich in fourth, four points behind table toppers Borussia Monchengladbach.
