The Los Angeles Clippers have defeated the visitors San Antonio Spurs 103-97 at the Staples Center.
It was a close contest in the opening quarter and the Spurs grabbed it with a 1-point lead. Then the hosts got the upper hand and took the 2nd quarter with a 3-point margin that led to their 50-48 advantage at the intermission.
The Clippers kept up the momentum after the break and took the next two sets to win the game with six points, which handed the Spurs their first loss of the season. Kawhi Leonard tallied 38 for the Clippers while DeMar DeRozen earned 29 for the Spurs.
