US Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has gained a record level of support as the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee, according to a new poll.

The Hill-HarrisX poll released on Monday found that since last month 15 percent of Democratic and Democratic-leaning independents supported Warren, up from the previous peak of 14 percent in September.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, was at 31 percent, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who garnered 17 percent support in the poll, were ahead of Warren in the crowded Democratic field of 12 contestants.

So far, polling has indicated that the Democratic nomination is a three-way race between Biden, Warren, and Sanders.

According to some polls, Warren is running neck-and-neck with  Biden, while other polls indicate that Warren has surged past Biden and Sanders.

A Quinnipiac University poll showed Warren had 27 percent support among Democrats and independent voters who lean Democratic, while Biden had 25 percent support, and Sanders 16 percent.

In the meantime, the three top-polling Democratic candidates are set to take to stage on Tuesday night with nine other candidates in Ohio for the fourth primary debate.

The nine other candidates onstage with them include Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA); entrepreneur Andrew Yang; Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ); former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke; California billionaire Tom Steyer; Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN); former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro; Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard; and South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
