Shanghai Masters: Novak Djokovic ousts Isner, into quarters

Novak Djokovic has progressed to quarterfinals of the 2019 Shanghai Masters after seeing off John Isner of the United States 7-5, 6-3. 

The opening set went down to the wire when Djokovic broke the hard serving American to love in the 12th game to clinch the set.

In the second set, the top-seeded Serbian produced a 3-love lead and went all the way to retain the gap and record his victory in just an hour and 14 minutes.

Djokovic will now have to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas to reach the semi-finals.
