Over the new NHL season, the Predators have crushed the Sharks 5-2 in Nashville, handing San Jose their 4th loss in a row.
The Predators took a 1-nothing lead in the 1st period through Roman Josi, who doubled the advantage with a power play goal in the middle frame. San Jose halved the deficit thanks to Evander Kane.
Kyle Turris restored the 2-goal cushion after 3 minutes in the final period before Filip Forsberg made it 4-1. The Sharks scored their 2nd with nearly 5 minutes to go, then conceded their 5th as Dante Fabbro scored an empty netter to cap off the win for Nashville.
