Humpback whale freed from netting off Australia

Rescuers in Australia on Friday successful freed a young humpback whale that had become tangled in shark netting off the east coast.

The whale calf was first spotted on Sunday travelling south down the coast. Footage from the national broadcaster, the ABC, shows the calf entangled alongside what is believed to be its mother as rescuers attempt to free the animal.
