Defending champion Barcelona has slumped to a second defeat in the La Liga, this time a 2-0 away loss against newly promoted Granada.

The hosts took a surprising lead, with less than 2 minutes into the match, as Ramon Azeez headed in at the back post.

The Catalan giants started the second half with full force, adding Lionel Messi and Ansu Fati to the rest of the stars, but conceded a second after the hour mark, after Alvaro Vadillo converted a VAR awarded penalty.

With the win, Granada moved to the top of the La Liga table, while Barcelona slipped to 7th, which is their worst league start in 25 years.
