Premier League: Southampton 1-3 Bournemouth
In the English Premier League, Bournemouth have overpowered Southampton with a 3-1 victory at St. Mary’s Stadium.
Bournemouth produced a superb 1st half display and went ahead in the 10th minute, as Nathan Ake headed the ball home from a corner. The visitors turned up the heat and Harry Wilson scored the 2nd with a left-footed shot from close range in the 35th minute.
Southampton cut the deficit just 10 minutes after the break when James Ward-Prowse scored from the spot. Finally, Bournemouth registered their first victory against Southampton in their regional derby as Callum Wilson slotted the ball home from a misunderstanding between Southampton's keeper and defender in stoppage time.
